I understand that there are a lot of 55 and solo builds, but you have to understand that factions just came out and people are finally starting to finish up beating PvE for the first time.
If you want to start a discussion about faction builds, etc. please feel free to do so.
I myself am a 55 monk and like to solo farm. HOWEVER, I am also a healer, bonder, and protector monk among other builds.
I suggest that you click the little numbers that directs you to page two, three, and so on. There are a lot of builds. It just so happens that there are a lot of non-healer builds as well.

Canthan Explorer's league has plenty of info on how peeps are doing in factions.
And also do as tsnuami says. Theres plenty of builds further on.
Also the search button isn't disabled at 1:00 AM in the morning

I notice that every time I come here, digging 2-3 pages deep for non farming builds. Maybe there should be a subsection for farming builds?

well ive been using this build quite effectively in factions, hope it helps:
Mo/Me
14 divine
12 protection
10 inspiration
basic active boon/prot
1.RoF
2.Prot or Guardian
3.mend aliment
4.mend condition
5.CoP
6.holy veil or drain enchants
7.MoR
8. Rez signet/ resurect/cap signet depends??
Nothing special just very effective for PvE!!
Peace
There are some factions skills that are cool, but there almost the same as prophecis with different names! heheheh! Stick with what works!

@4runner: since most PvE is fairly predictable, I recommend taking power drain instead of contemplation. In PvE it's easy to find a caster mindlessly casting 1+ second spells, and it's great energy management since you're already running high inspiration. I don't find the need to use CoP often enough in PvE to warrant using it.
If you were insanely awesome (like WM/EViL monks) you could even bring Power Drain in pvp, but 99% of us aren't good enough to be able to actively keep everyone alive while interupting for energy management :-p

i use same old build with a new skill occasionally added to it, some of the new elites are good but they affect the team in a more in-direct way then woh/boon so u can try em in pvp, but in pve ull get raped without that 220hp heal woh does.
life sheath = nice
smthn that removes ur condition/hex and ally's one [elite] 5/1/10 is nice
some other stuff look potentially nice, but i guess ppl still try to figure out what works best.
if i were you i'd go watch some gvg's, i had korea/taiwan is using ONLY the new skills non stop! nice!

Only reason I never bother to post on these forums (and to some extent on the Necro ones) is that I have this impression that they are all filled with 55 junkies. Soloing is great and fun, and makes you cash, now lets go back to things we can't solo.

No kidding....I will never get how they manage to keep their team alive in a GvG match while simultaneously pulling that off. I tried it and (big surprise) I would either miss the interrupt or be thrown off my groove.
As far as the new skills go, I will go ahead and check out some matches. I stopped watching them a while back when all the builds were pretty much pre-determined but I guess now is a good time to see some new types of teams going at it.
I pulled out my monk and ran around with him a little and began feeling the pain of monking for PuGs again. Ended up rage quitting from a group in Vizunah's when the ranger decided to start tanking with a bow and no stances

Back to the original topic, there is now a farming section of the campfire, which should solve the problem. All farming-related threads are to go in that section, and leave the class-specific sections for actual PvE discussion.
